.......but now deperate times call for desperate measures. I will need to be purchasing a new guitar the day before, or on the day of my bands first gig which is next wednesday, the singer literally phoned me up an hour ago and told me and I havent got a damn replacement guitar yet for my first one (which is pretty much broken) I can't buy from the internet due to the fact that I get paid the day before the gig (hence the 1 day to sort it out thing). Anyway, to cut to the chase I have whittled down to these 2.

Out of the guitar shops in my city I really hate this one because it basically ripped me off as much as anyone can rip anyone off.......they sold me these http://www.gmmusic.co.uk/itemdetails.cfm?refnum=10&category=guitaramps&categoryname=Guitar%20Amplifiers&Session=78936540 http://www.gmmusic.co.uk/itemdetails.cfm?refnum=109&category=guitaramps&categoryname=Guitar%20Amplifiers&Session=78936540
and yes for the prices listed, i was very naive and got conned. However the rest of the stores in the town don't really have the kind of guitars im after in my price range (basically around £400, but i don't really want an LP, don't like the neck) i play classic rock, blues, satch, you know the stuff.
Amp is the MG but like I said, i have to get the guitar first to play the gig, **** tone or otherwise. I have one day (sunday) to try these guitars out first hand so will be going on general opinion more than anything pretty much.
So yeh, please help me guys, I know this is a longish post and there's one like it every 2 minutes, but help a stranger a need, I beg of you lol.
Cheers guys.

In my opinion the S series are the best Ibanez has to offer. They're light, confortable, really great sounding and the ZR is probably the best thing to come around since the Kahlers. Still you really should try them and make up your mind by yourself since everyone has different opinions about those guitars. Just make sure they feel confortable to you.

Yeh, I'll definately be trying before buying, but I just wanna go in with an idea you know. I've had my eye on the S470 for a long while, but with them being discontinued I never expected to find one in my city. As far as I know they might not even have one there and the site just aint been updated for a while. But I guess it's living in hope time lol.
