This is the check list

1. MOST important, I don't want a strat like body. no double cut away.
2. one with an OFR, but if you can't it's ok.
3. no shecter or Ibanez RGs, I don't want a strat body.
4. price not over 2000$ but that doesn't mean I have to spend 2000, I want something american or Japanese. no korea, or china etc. I need a quality guitar.
5. Thank You

6. Don't ask why no shectors, they suck. Period.
#3
I think you limited your options to close to zero there.
Fender Japan Stratocaster Ibanez Pro540 Power Ibanez Pro540 Saber Ibanez 430S Ibanez S540 Charvel LSXIII w/GraphTech Ghost MIDI Parker Fly Artist Ibanez S1220 Mesa F30 Roland GR20 Roland Microcube + IBANEZ TREMS STILL SUCK!
#4
Yeah, I realize that.

damn, I have one stratocaster, and two guitars with the same shape in my house (one's my dad's, one's my brother's.) so I'm really sick of the RG or strat shape.

I don't like ESPs either... :/

*cries*
#5
well if you're so damn picky and don't want to take suggestions, why did you post?
#6
Based on your requirements.
And removing all the ones you don't like,
Maybe you should make your own?
#8
I already made a 7 string thread today. And i realized i dont think i want anything more. I would also prefer one without that body shape but it doesnt look good.

I think i've heard of les paul 7 strings before...
I'm Tyler
#9
no, I don't want that shape either.

I don't want a carvin because (of the shape)
#10
i'm pretty sure dean is making 7-string razorbacks.

or do you not like those either?
#11
dimefag darrel? no, I don't like them either.

I'd like either

1. Explorer shape (jackson kelly)
2. V
3. suggestions.
#14
You have zero options.
1)Almost every 7 string is a super-strat body
2)Epiphone do have a 7 string les paul(if i remember correctly)
3)Dean have a 7 string razorback.
4)There are some 7 string warlocks

Other than that, if you want a different body shape you have to go custom made.

And IMO your being very picky about it. There are some good indonesian and korean 7 strings, schecters have some of the nicest 7 strings and strats are good for playability
I've developed a complex where everytime I hear a Lamb of God song, I burst out laughing

Warmoth a Jazzmaster body, a seven string OFR and a seven string neck? Mmm... seven string super Jazzmaster. It's the Shredmaster.

Framus makes a 7 string with a body variation of an explorer.
Dyer's Eve is awesome, and has an abnormally large penis, which doesn't act as any hinderance to his everyday life despite its freakishly large size.

If you wan't a 7 String guitar, you could get the Dean Razorback V 7 String (i think there is one) or a Music Man JP7 (John Petrucci's signature 7 String) those are the only one's that i can think of.

why are metal musicians prone to fatness?
Cause there music is heavy.

Writing music is hard D:

There is a razorback V 7 string i think. Might wanna check into that if you're after a V shape body.
#21
I didn't know there was a razorback V 7 string, I've seen the Normal razorback 7 string though.

TS you should focus on the sound of the guitar before you get picky about looks.
I've decided that my signature is terrible. I'm open to suggestions.

that looks like a ZR bridge.... and I don't see fender anywhere on it.

It needs to be routed out in the back so I can pull back on the temolo.

How are the Jackson stars? they make 7 string kelly's and Rhodes guitars.

An OFR isn't going to make you any better than someone with an LFR, ZR, or Ibanez Edge. All of those can be great trems if you know how to set them up.

At first you might think double cutaways are plain but they're like that for a reason. Cutting away from the upper wing saves weight, and cutting away from the lower wing helps upper fret access.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't buy a guitar that looks ugly, but a regular guitar that plays great is a winner IMO.

Rhoads. As I've said before, Jackson Stars aren't an option, as you can't put in semi custom orders anymore.

Yeah... it's a photoshop... Warmoth sells guitar parts, it's a rendering of something you could likely build with a Warmoth body and neck and some eBayed parts.

And yes, it is a ZR bridge.

Btw TS, have you considered an ESP or LTD Steph (sp?) Carpenter. They're 7 strings and strat like, but pretty unique looking.

I know that, but the OFR will stay in tune easier/ better. I know the most about OFR... how to set up etc.

With the OFR, I don't have to worry about it going out of tune 24/7 and just pay attention to my training etc.

I don't want any guitar under 800$ I want a good guitar thanks.
#39
There is plenty of good guitars under $800.

You've pretty much shot down most suggestions, so your better off doing a warmoth order, especially with the amount your willing to spend.
