Don't eat and don't go on the computer. I'd say actually go to bed, maybe put some chilled music on, read a book, or something. And when its daytime do lots of exercise, that'll tire you out for the next night.

My strategy has been to wake the next morning early, like 8-9 am. Then later at the evening you're tired and can get to bed early enough.

i thought they sold it at walgreens,went in the other day at like 4am,with bloodshot eyes w/o shaving for like a week,wearing sandals gym shorts a fender hoodie and a beanie,standing in the painkillers/medicine aisle,guy comes up to me, "looking for anything?", i say , "yea chloroform u got any?",i get a stare and he's like no sorry we dont carry chloroform,so i bought some sunflower seeds and nesquik and went home

hahahaha. oh man, if this forum and a rep scoring system id be giving you so many points man.

i was had the same thing as you, unable to sleep, and i was bought some herbal tablets, basicly they just make you sleepy and help's your body switch off. they didnt really work for me, but other people have said they work really well. you can buy them from most herbal alternative diet shops.

Don't go to bed until 10pm the following night. Stay up, (if it's 5am, you might as well) make sure you don't fall aseep, go out for a few hours during the day, even if it's just for a walk, just make sure you're outside and getting some fresh air and sunlight. By 10pm the next night I guarantee you'll be tired enough to sleep and if you manage to get to sleep at around 10pm, it'll bring your body clock back in line too.

I use this pill, I think its called metformin or something, i can sleep for like 14 hours with one of those.

Here's what works for me:

Do lots of homework, turn off the lights, and play lots of Pink Floyd (except for perhaps Piper at the Gates of Dawn and Saucerful of Secrets, since that's a bit too psychedelic for these purposes). It'll be pretty easy to fall asleep then.

I once read that the best way to get to sleep is to lie on your back, breathe through your nose and adopt the breathing pattern that you would normally use whilst asleep (breathe in to the count of 2 and breathe out to the count of 3). I've always been a terrible sleeper and this technique worked for me for a whole 2 nights! Maybe you'll get better results from it than I did.
