i tried to tune my jackson rr3 to drop C

but then the floyd rose went all dodgy



i tuned it back to standard and it seemed ok

but im not sure

will it survive???

^yes, it will you just need to adjust the tension on the bridge.

It will be fine now the tension matches again.

If it was correct in standard, wrong in drop C and now it is back in standard, if you did not make any adjustments to the sPring tension when you dropped the tuning then it should be fine again. Touch nothing lol.

Oh wow now you done it =O... that's worse than playing tetris with Chuck Norris, and winning ._.

But more to the point

yes your guitar will be fine it was just that the spring tension in the back of the guitar wasn't equal to the string tension in the front of your guitar, If you tune to drop C again just remove your back plate and turn the screws holding the claw in the back cavity, check your manual for more instructions on that ^^
