I need info on the following.

Digitech XSeries Hot Rod Distortion
Behringer Ultra Flanger
Behringer Vintage Phaser
& Behringer Compressor / Sustainer.
FAB Chorus

What I'm wondering, is the Hot Rod distortion good for metal or is it a lower gain pedal? As far as the others how is the sound quality? I was told they accurately re-produce the sounds of the pedals they're copying and some sound better but I wouldn't know. Are these pedals an upgrade from my Digitech DF-7?

dont use digitech
in my opinion use the ibanez TS9 or a boss overdrive
try the pedals out before u buy them!

the fab chorus is terrible. straight up. in fact, ive had very bad luck with fab products.

There's a guy who wants to trade me all those pedals for my DF-7 so I'm wondering of they're any good or if it's worth it. I have no access to pedals to try them and I also only have that one pedal that I traded a friend for some parts.

the behringer compressor is a pos. considering you already have a valveking deny that trade, and look to replace that df7 with an overdrive to boost your amp

get a cheap marshall... my MG15DFX has a button that simulates the sound of one of the expensive tube marshall amps.

Not what I'm asking, plus isn't the Hod Rod an analog pedal?

Haha yeah I thought about that. I figured since according to so many of you guys the DF-7 already sucks why not try out some different effects. But if the overall vote is that I shouldn't go for it then I'll just keep it.

I posted the ad on HC as well as UG to trade it and he was the only one to reply so far.

I'd say no. The DF-7 is better than those (note: I haven't used any of them myself, this is just hearsay).
