Hey everyone,
I know I know, Like the title says this is probably a NOOb question but i can't figure out the answer to it. I understand how to read tabs, but my question is... Is there some way or technique to sliding your fingers from fret to another? (I.E. http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/a/anarchy_club/collide_tab.htm ) I tried doing that 3 note slide but my hand cramped up.

I'm not sure what you mean, do you mean just moving your hand on the neck? There's not really a technique to it, you just do it.

EDIT: This was my 666th post!

You don't have to fret the strings that hard.

Try to fret with the minimum amount of pressure that'll let the note still ring, and then slide using that same amount of pressure.

Ya, just be almost hovering like with a harmonic and just slide, gives less of a feedback and won't make your fingers fall off. Well a tad harder than a harmonic but you get my point. =P
