Well my warlock is 1 year old on 25 december and my parents friend has offered to airbrush a design onto it.

I was thinking of customizing it any way.

Its a warlock Bonze series.

Im thinking of adding a set of Seymore Duncan SH13 Dimebucker

or

A set OF EMG 81 and 85 Active pickups

The EMGs would mean Id need a cavity cut into the back of the guitar

What do you think I should do?

Between those two pickup choices I would choose the EMG's, but most people here will tell you that you need a nice tube amp to fully utilize those pickups. If you did get the EMG's you wouldn't really need to carve out a cavity, the extra whatnots and electronics should be able to squeeze in. You might also want to check out Bareknuckle Pickups or some of the passive Duncans and Dimarzios.

Ive been highly recommended the dimebuckers by a close friend been playingnguitar for about 8 years. So I think I will go for the dimebuckers Should give is a sweet sound.

Here is my planned paint job

Ive never seen a scotland livery warlock before So think this will be one of the first

Nice.

Might wanna consider moving the writing though, otherwise you'll just see "S ni h" The pickups would be in the way, unless you cover them and paint over the cover (as Jackson do wih their customs. Look at Kirk Hammetts guitars as an example).

DO NOT!! put in a dimebucker. it is one of the worst sounding guitar pickups ive heard.

i would go for dimarzio d-activator set

all the power of actives in a passive, and theyre not shiity like the emg-hz's

Blackouts/D-activator.

Only way to go eh?
I don't remember where I was,
When I realized life was a game.
The more seriously I took things,
The harder the rules became.

hmm I will have a look see what I can try out I checked out the EMGs they have a pretty good sound. But the dimentions are bigger than my current picups and would mean resizing.

i think the text should go on the headstock
that would look a hell of a lot more tasteful
and in some ways more visible than the body
