Ok so someone invited my band to go to a gig this december, everything ok.
The problem is the "band" is only me and a drummer, we don't have a vocalist, our rehearsals are not that productive, and the only bassist we found doesn't even know what a fret is.
On the top of that, I agreed and the promoter is counting on us.

Can you guies help us out by naming some songs that are easy to play, and if possible not too long ?

it won't matter what songs you play if everyone in the band can't play... if you're that committed to playing this show, you're either going to play only songs that the bassist can learn by showtime, or you'll be playing a ****ty set.

If you and the drummer are good enough, your bassist only needs to play the roots of the chords. Can you sing?

Ditch the bassist. Play à la mode de White Stripes/Death From Above 1979, minimalist and simple. Either you or your drummer or both can sing, and just play riff rock and chords.

frigginjerk:Well he's not that bad, he can play Seven Nation Army decently.
chinospike: anything that can be called rock is ok
blue_strat: Well, I can. The problem is we don't have any amp, just a old rusty mic, and I don't have any previous experience.

Thanks for the replies !
