Does anyone know where I can pick up a pickguard for 2 Gibson style humbuckers that will fit a strat? Or should I just try and cut it out myself?

Thanks.

^first one won't work with covered pickups.

one makuserusukotto posted will work for both.

but wouldn't u need f-spaced pickups?

WDMusic.com. lots of pickguards there.

And yea, ur gonna need F-Spaced pickups. the string spacing at the bridge is different on Strats than on Les-paul style bridges.

^I'd let a pro look at it. Once you get into the technicalities of screws...well, it's just a place you don't want to be, friend.

Thanks guys! I don't think I'm gonna get too serious on this one, I'm looking at getting this when it comes in. The guitar should look sweet!

i don't think anybody can beat $13...

Beat me too it but yeah, with an unwired pickguard I don't think it makes sense to buy it from anywhere but the cheapest supplier...within reason ofc.

u won't have the versatility to mod it for coil split... and do u know which two pickups are gonna be on that? they say PAF, but i think they're gonna put their cheapest pickups on it.

I just bought a pre-wired fat strat pickup. I know it's probably not the best but it was only 30 dollars or so and I was feeling like anything would be better than my Squier pickups.

^yea their biggest ally is the price. at $30, not too many people would think it's a waste. only some people that had a boutique pickup or really insane ears that hear everything would say crap about it.

Eh, I'll mess with it I guess. If I don't like the pickups I guess I'll just sell them to some kid who is stupid with guitars....
