How long do you think I should keep Ernie Ball 10s on my guitar before restringing?

I play mostly thrash metal, so I'm somewhat 'aggressive' in my playing. Also, I usually play about 2 hours a day.

It depends... just change them when you notice a lack of tone quality or the strings start to feel more rough and corroded... for you, I'd guess somewhere around 2 months per set, but thats all on what you think. Some people chnage strings once a week... I like mine a bit worn in

I change mine about once every 3 months or more, i dont like spening money on something i should buy every 3 weeks, just gets annoying for me, haha. but i know i should change them more often.

When I had Ernie Balls, I changed them about once a month. With my new brand, it's been like 3 months and they still feel and sound like new

Good for you. Have a cookie.

But really... there's no cookie. And if there was, you wouldn't get one.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
