Well the title says it all. Post vids to the WORST covers made by a famous artist. I shall start off with 2 of the same song. She Shook Me all Night Long! One of the best songs ever covered by 2 of the worst artists ever! Celine Dion & Shania Twain!

I don't feel like finding any videos, but ANY of those gay ass covers that rappers do of rock songs. Like whoever did that Crazy Train one. Or Sweet Home Alabama. They make me want to stomp on a puppy.

I have a few:

Godsmack - "Good Times Bad times" Sully's voice is close, but otherwise it just doesn't work for me.
Children of Bodom - "Aces High" To quote the song "GROWL GROWL GRGROWL GAHGROWL GAHGROOOWWWL" Yeeeeaaaah.
Metallica - "Turn the Page" Talk about ruining a quiet, calm song with boat loads of distortion of melodrama.
Marliyn Manson - "Sweet Dreams" Not what I had after listening to that garbage...

Stevie Ray Vaughn's cover of Little Wing.
Eric Clapton's version of Knockin' On Heaven's Door.

Both god-awful rapings of the original masterpieces. The biggest shame is I know Clapton could have done it so much better.

I liked the Metallica "Turn The Page" cover actually. Dream Theater's MoP cover was bad, so was Bullet For My Valentine's "Sanitarium".

I think what he means is that SRV morphed it into his own song, he took it and made it into something different. Either that, or I'm over-analyzing.

I haven't found a recording of it, just a few live mp3's... but Trivium (and it kills me to say this, because Trivium is my all time favorite band) has tried to cover For Whom the Bell Tolls... and it sounded like the result of plugging a pair of iPod headphones (worst headphones I've ever had the displeasure of shoving in my ear) into a steaming lump of ****. But maybe it was just the low quality of the recordings. I don't know.
