I've really only been playing guitar seriously since the beginning of summer, and have got to a point were I don't know what to learn. In order I've learned:

Smoke on the water riff.
Seven Nation Army Riff.
Come as you are riff. ---- learned on the bass
longview
--------------------------------
Stairway to heaven, intro.
Eruption (fast picking section, then tapping)
November rain (start of last solo, shredding slowed down a bit)
plug in baby riff (still can't get 100 % of the time)
sweet child of mine riff
hardest button to button
Holiday (green day) solo
Smells like teen spirit riff and solo (whole thing more or less)
purple haze intro riff
Welcome to paradise riff
celebrity skin verse and chorus
Start to 316
you really got me intro
and some small parts of some RATM songs that arent worth mentioning really
and i think theres others...

I don't want something too easy but not like impossible...

Suggestions?

thanks.

Yeah also alot of ACDC stuff is easy IMO. But Metallica does have some hard riffs cause of the speed, take Battery for example. Enter Sandman is easy IMO

Not really sure what to tell you. I'm a beginner myself and i'm not sure what you like. Obviously you wouldn't play a band you hate. Foo Fighters, Bullet For My Valentine, Godsmack. If you are faster you could try some thrash metal, Old Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax. Not sure if any of those are good suggestions for you, if not then just ignore them.

Now that I think of it...I...i mean...you should try Icky Thump - White Stripes. idk if the tab is there or not, it is a pretty crazy song.

If your into metalcore some Atreyu or Avenged Sevenfold. The solos on Avenged Sevenfold's City Of Evil are CRAZY but the riffs on their first two albums are better. For Atreyu the intro to Bleeding Mascarra is insane and Lip Gloss and Black has a cool tapping intro
