Alright So I have a an epiphone flying v
and it's painted hippieish kinda like hendrix's v
so i am thinking tremolo should be the next step
recomend me one
i was thinking bigsby but i was told no bigsbys would fit a v
and let me know how much it would be
thanks guys

i really don't think it would be that hard
if you look at hendrix's v it doesn't seem very difficult

i know it's at least do-able because the guitarist in Across the Universe uses one...but I don't know how easy it would be to do after-factory

Well you would need to chisel out a cavity to put it in, and if your prepared to do that, then why not just go for the good ol fashioned floyd rose?

you can in fact fit a bigsby on a flying V

look up "chicago music exchange" on their web site they have to gison flying v's for sale with bigsby.

also there is a typo on one of them and it says its $5.00

edit: they fixed it, sorta, it doesn't have a price now

You can install a bigsby:

Or a short vibrola like hendrix had:

http://www.allparts.com/store/tailpieces-tremolo-tailpieces-tp-3683-001,Product.asp

Neither will require routing or any big modifications to your guitar, just a few screws, however, you probably can't do it yourself, it'll cost about 100 USD at a good tech.

I recommend the vibrola, they look cooler and tend to work better.

www.kahlerusa.com .... the hybrid bridge systems .... you can use either one because ou have a flat top.... but you may want to use the tailpeice mounted one because you cant take of the v's pickguard to drill into the body without having to see its guts..... i think they are like 200 bucks......
