I've been playing acoustic for a year now, and have decided to upgrade to an electric. I found a pretty good deal on this online, and was wondering whether or not it would make a good amp. Don't really plan on gigging...just maybe a jam session or two. Anybody have any experience with this?

I love the rage 158. Never played a 2.

I'd never gig with it, but for my room, and for playing around it's great.

I use the 158, I really like it. It's a decent practice amp, can be loud as hell without sounding like crap, and it's pretty versatile. Some say it can't do metal, which isn't true, since that's what I play. It's not a Mesa or Engl by any stretch of the imagination, but for what it is and what it costs, it's a bloody awesome amp.
