Well today, it arrived. After a few weeks of waiting, lies, deceit and numerous phone calls and e-mails, oh yes, it did arrive.

Ladies and Gentlefolk, I present to thee my new ENGL Fireball!

German efficiency on the packaging:

Box Logo:

Stack (Cookie for guessing what's on the T.V):

Artsy:

Any one that says the shared gain control is a downside for this amp, they obviously have never played it. Crushing distortion, change the channel and instant glassy cleans. I LOVE this amp, if you want a hi gain amp with a clean channel, forget your 5150/6505s and get this amp. I see them compared all the time and never with a definitive answer, well here it is folks, that answer is buy the Fireball.

P.S
Because I'm still buzzing from last night, SEASICK STEVE:

br00talz!
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

The TV looks like someone is rolling down the window of a limo and looking down a red carpet of some sort.

Waiting time: I ordered it on the saturday, on the monday I got an e-mail saying that it was a closed order and they'd shipped it. The week went by and no amp, the following monday I go a text saying they'd shipped it. That friday I got a phonecall from a depot in Leicester saying they had goods for me and they wanted to ship it that monday, which they did.

The TV is Top Gear

It cost about £1080 with a decent speaker cable.

The cab is an ENGL E212VH. I didn't want a 4x12 for gigging reasons and I got the ENGL for the V30s and the fact everything I have has to be matching, I wouldn't be able to play an ENGL head through a Marshall cab for example

^ so their postage sucks? lol it says 3-4 days. i had hopes of mine being here by saturday oh well

Looks nice, but is that grill plastic?

Yeah. Sucks don't it. I always thought it would be metal, a MASSIVE disappointment. (Sounds stupid but, plastic on a £1000 amp? Giraffe me thinks)

Sometimes the postage is good, from what I hear. I think it took a week to encase it in all the **** they did tbh

Man, that's one good looking amp. Oh, and nice legs

It took me about an hour. Seriously. I wish I would've taken a photo of all the packaging after I'd finished with it.

^ me too lol.

I wants your cab, mine looks sorta out of place. I would go for the vertical 212 myself, for better projection.

Most venues I play mic up amps anyway, and I wasn't sure if the head would fit across it perfectly or not . Pretty sure I have OCD or something
#34
^ Lol nah probably not. I think the Vertical cab is meant for the thunder and screamer anyway.

I'll probably sell my framus and get one when I have some money lying around.

Yeah, you're probably right.
It's a nice cab anyway really, nicely built and sounds pretty good. I have to get on the floor to actually decipher the proper tone though, it being a 2x12. I recommend you get one though
#37
Like i said I will.

I just haven't got any money to spend on gear atm. I'm wating a MIDi controller, Reference Monitors and some effects before I replace it.
