i want to install the tune-o-matic bridge onto my SG myself instead of paying someone to do it. is there a link that gives a step-by-step instruction on how to do it?

i've installed my SD pups myself so i know how to solder an stuff, takin any advice i can get.

an Epi already should have a tune-o-matic setup. Otherwise, take the old one off the posts and put the new one on. Adjust the intonation, and u should be set.

Are you talking about an SG with a stop-bar (aka untunable) bridge? There are several retrofits that just bolt in to the original bolts. If thats what it is check on the internet. They look pretty easy and solid, don't look ugly.

yea it already has a tune-o-matic bridge...it'd be easier for me to judge if i could just see the steps for it i guess

which upgraded bridge were you/ did you buy?

did you measure it? most of the time the original bridge will come right off.
