Well its finally time for me to get rid of my MG seeing as im starting to get more and more serious as a guitar player. I need it for more than just practice and the MG just isnt cutting it as a gigging amp. So my budget is around 1000$ Canadian and im looking to go all tube. Ive been leaning towards get a combo but any suggestion is welcome. The bands i listen to and play mainly are Iron Maiden, Van HAlen, Metallica, and Ozzy

Used Peavey 5150 Combo should cover all of that .

^I'd let a pro look at it. Once you get into the technicalities of screws...well, it's just a place you don't want to be, friend.

You could search, seeing as there have been a hundred threads with your kind of criteria, but wth.

Probably a Marshall DSL401 for Maiden, Halen and Ozzy; with a boost, like an Ibanez Tubescreamer or MXR Zakk Wylde overdrive to be authentic Zakk-era Ozzy.

Possibly an Ashdown FA40 (with an OD).

^ Also Peavey Valveking at least; I don't have any experience with the 5150, but that could be a viable option too .
