I'm just looking around for some new trip music - I really only ever trip to Pink Floyd (classic trip), Shpongle (insane), and Do Make Say Think (more ambient music than anything else). Anything any of you can recommend along the lines of those would be awesome.
Eh.

The Velvet Underground. Period.

Listen to "Venus in Furs". You'll trip on acid, minus the acid.
#8
How dare you call Do Make Say Think ambient! They are so melodic and rhythmic!

You should get any Olivia Tremor Control album. As well as Boards of Canada, Animal Collective, Sigur Ros, and Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots by The Flaming Lips.

So are you really going to listen to any of the suggestions you got?
I often wonder if the people that ask for musical suggestions actually listen to what
gets suggested to them?

Normally, I'd say "+1" to this.
But numbers can't describe the trip-value of the Mars Volta.

Thats cool. I was just curious if anyone that posts these "recommend me some music"
threads ever make an attempt to listen to the suggestions. I mean I see at least 5 threads like this one a week. And ya I go listen to the stuff I've never heard of before too. I like reading them to learn about stuff I've never heard of before.
Enjoy your trip dude.
Jam on.
