Hey guys, after deciding that the TS-9 and TS-808 are out of my range (yea I know it sucks...) I am down to two pedals, the OD-3 and the SD-1. My question is which one has the warmer tone? I am going to use this with a Strat for nice clean overdriven sound. Something fairly close to SRV's tone is what I am looking for. Thanks for your help

i know its not digital and still hate the bad monkey. When it comes to boosts nothing beats a Maxon OD-9 but its out of your price range maybe you should just save and get whats best instead of making due with something marginally as good.

there are far better pedals to use as a Boost than a Maxon OD9. it's an overdrive pedal after all. its just a true bypass TS9 am i wrong? i've seen a maxon od9 board, and it's identical to the TS9 board except it's missing quite a few buffer components and it has a 3PDT switch.
