Go, forward facing narcissistic
Asphyxiating Pessimistic
Crying for the blood that was shed
Yet not a sincere thought in your head
Self-gratifying antiquity
Stuck in the past, refuse to believe
All that was lost will never come back
Even a mention condones heart attack
Breathing in the smoke surrounding
Heartless men all that surround me
Living for gain
So deep they're drowning
Deaf to the thunder, blind to the lightning
But it was not within my jurisdiction
To pursue them with such conviction
So it is with this I've come upon my sentence
My last chance for repentance

And as I stand on ground so hallow
Looming ahead, the threat of the gallows
Barely able to muster the will to stand
I know that salvation
Is not befitting of one of my station
And that my exit will not be grand

After three knocks, and one lock
I find myself blinded by the sun
Blinking away the shock, I take stock
Of what is soon to be done

Twenty barrels greet me
Just before I'm blinded by the fold
Suddenly this doesn't seem like it's happening
Then my body goes cold

And as I stood on ground so hallow
Looming ahead, the threat of the gallows
Barely able to muster the will to stand
I knew that salvation
Was not befitting of one of my station
And that my exit would not be grand
Such is the end of one so damned

My first post, starting with the third or fourth verse from something that I had already written. I've got tons of these and I've been wanting some feed back, so... If you could feed me back that would be fantastic.
