I took 4 pictures to show the winter to spring transition. It goes from about 4 feet of snow or less to 2 feet of water. I found it pretty interesting. The snow gets really deep here, last year it got too deep for even a snowmobile to drive in.

The deepest it got that year, and before we trod on it.

After we had a fire.

Melting and slowly.

My friend went biking through that water, the top of the bike was barely visible and he was on top of the fence for 15 minutes trying to find a way out. He just inched his way along the fence but it was breaking at the same time.

I love how in the first one, all the crap on the lawn is invisible, then in the next one, it looks like a normal back yard

Actually I had quite a bit of fun. I made a huge hill of snow and snowboarded off my roof into it. I also just got puppies and they loved the snow so I'd toss them into a pile and they'd disappear in it all then wiggle out and come running to me so i could do it again. They don't follow atv laws or anything so I got a ski-doo and dragged my friends all over the place on sleds behind it. Doing it all again this winter.

Lol, that's where my dog learned to swim.

Edit: Unfortunately I''m gonna move in a year or so to the city. I have a fear of cities so I'll have to get used to the city life, noise, etc.

Looks cool. We get snow that deep every couple of years. But if you go inland about 5 miles it's like that everytime it snows. Damn snow just doesn't lie well beside the sea.
