Looking for a new amp.

Don't suggest 5150/6505, I know they're good but there's none in my area to try and I can't get to Denmark St, London to try them >.<

I play stuff like Trivium, Metallica and Pantera etc...

Which one would be best suited?

If none of them then please suggest others...

I'm not sure about the ENGLs, but the Laney is pretty good.

do you have a cab already? a good cab is going to cost you quite a bit more. perhaps look into some more combos?

So it's a no-no to the Engl's and the Marshalls. I think there are Laney's at Sound Control in Birmingham, so I'll probably go try them out but they don't have Peaveys

No-no to DSLs, Laneys and ENGLs are amazing.

Though I think Trivium used DSLs on their last CD, or was it the one before? Dunno. But they had to be adding an OD to get that much gain.

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.
