if u ask me, i want one too.

looking at the pictures, it seems like good quality components. r u talking "quality" as in their prebuilt kits' build quality?

it was $150 with the box
without it woudl have been 100
(get the box)
even with the shipping it's still cheaper than anywhere in the US
i have a 18watt combo also actually and they are very very similar (to a Plexi)
which i love cause now i have a stack plexi and a combo plexi
and i have heard 800s are similar to plexis so.. transitive property?
#8
^^i believe the tmb was modeled after the old plexis rather than the jcm800.

to guitaristd: how much did you get charged for shipping? and do you know if nik would be able to house it in a casing (and how much that would cost)?
#9
right you are right about the TMB
but jcm800s were modeled after plexis
which is what i ment by the transitive property
and the "houseing" as you call it is what i was talking about the box
it says on his website how much the boxes are
for the plexi it was 150
make sure you add everythign up before you commit
cause shipping and boxes and everything adds up very fast
alltogether mine cost jsut short of $1000
but it's still a great deal

The 18W is *gasp!* modeled after the 18W Plexis that Marshall made in the early 70's. The originals had a Normal channel, with just a tone and volume control, and a Vibrato channel with tremolo in addition to that. The whole TMB business is from some mods that can be done which reuse the Vibrato channel's tubes for an extra gain stage and a tonestack buffer section.

i was thinking about getting a weber kit ( was actually supposed to order it today until i gotta c on a math test, i only missed one problem but the teacher didnt like my process's so now i have no guitars ) and it is cheaper to get the weber kit than it is to getta ceriatone. they also have a lot of different models of the marshall ( 1987 jtm-45 18tmb 36 tmb and 100 superlead plus some others i missed and a bunch of combos)

i got him to add a PPIMV(master volume) in the back
