I WOULD PRobably get a cheapish amp if i went with an ibanez guitar like this one
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-Frontman-10G-10W-Guitar-Combo-Amp?sku=481602

Can someone explain what kinda of music these puppies would play. The musical difference of play between the g400 and the ibanez's. Any other suggestions. of guitars an epi dot stuido or something --- and what kind of music that would play. IM fiending for some information. My budget is maxxed out at 400 i would say.

Thanks HomIES

Ibanez's are usually good for metal, and an Epiphone SG would be excellent for classic rock stuff in general. It looks like the main difference between the two Ibanez guitars is that the RG2EX1 has EMG passive pickups and a basswood body, while the RG321 has Ibanez humbuckers and a mahogany body. The only style EMG pickups work well for is metal, and they're probably also the reason that guitar costs a little bit more. Also the mahogany body would be great for sustain, I don't much about Ibanez pickups though. Good luck choosing.

The ibanez RG guitars are quality, even thoe they have fixed bridges. Theyre really all genre guitars, but id place them in the metal/shred area. Get the first RG you said in white, its sex

Get a Cheaper guitar (Ibanez RG120)... and get a better amp. (I love Crate as starter amps)

Consider a Jackson JS30DKT as well. Not the best body wood in the world or pickups, but the construction and sound compete well with the Ibanez.

RG321 Definatley, but DO NOT cheap out on the amp.

+1, grab the RG321, and check out a Crate V8 Palomino, they are normally around $100 or $150
