I am in need of some guidance. I have got a problem with something on my browser and do not know how to fix it. Here is a picture.

You must have noticed the big quick time sign with the question mark on it. I have updated quick time, macromedia flash and firefox. And it still stays like that. Any suggestions?

umm same **** happens to my laptop from time to time. Try to find in your files a folder that says internet plug-ins. Or something along the lines of that. And then delete the Flash Plugin. I've noticed on my mac that it works if you delete but then you might have to go to the Flash website and download it again. Hope that helps, and if it does, i expect a BJ.

It took me a while but I noticed what was wrong and I know how to fix it.

You're running a piece of **** crapple. ahahaha of course it's incompatible with everything.

The solution : give a lot of guys blowjobs and buy something that doesn't suck ass.

This is working for now. Thanks man.
But I'm afraid it is going to break down again.
Does anybody know some long term solutions. And no, I won't buy a PC.

EDIT
You want to say that to my face? If your in my area we could meet up.

long term solution... for apple users

1. click the (blue apple) "top left of screen"
2. go to (system preferences)
3. click (quicktime) under "internet and network"
4. click (advance)
5. click (MlME Settings)
6. click to "uncheck" the (video) and (audio) and (miscellaneous) buttons

problem solved!!!

now i'd like my bj please...

EDIT:

now you can update your plugins and run them. you might want to download (flip4mac WMV) so you can play windows media files.

to the non-apple people flaming apple computers: shut the hell up. it's not a mac problem.

the quicktime "Q" with the "?" means that the file it's looking for DOESN'T EXIST. it's youtube's problem, not quicktimes, not apples. it's shoddy html code.

it's something as simple as an update to the web pages and scriptlets behind the scenes caused a temporary misdirect to the wrong files.

if this shows up everywhere, on every page, reboot. i've had it happen once (and only once in the two years i've been using macs) where QT shows the Q? icon on everything, but the files exist (such as mp3 files listened to before). a reboot fixed the problem. i think it was because i had my mbp on for 3 weeks straight and never closed out firefox completely.

That sounds logical. And fadetoblack could you rationalize that? Why should we do that?

cause unlike the dumbass above you. it is a computer problem not the internet.

quicktime is trying to run the plugin through quicktime which won't work. quicktime can only read the media files not the plugin. so unchecking them will allow the plugins to run themselves and convert the media files so quicktime can read it.

basically it's quicktime running another program instead of the file you want

that's the best explaination i got...
