hey guys i am really ****ing pissed off.

i have been trying to make my first pedal, a booster but somethings gone wrong.

well once i plug everything in the LED doesnt turn on

the amp is silenced when i turn the switch on

the battery seems to heat up after like 3 min

the reasons i have for this to happen is that this is the second time i have tried to do this and i reused the two capacitors and the trasistor (i am a noob at this so i dont know if this maybe a reason)

a resistor doesnt exctly really match up with the markings given.

The pot is like two pots on top of eachother with one shaft

Please someone tell me what is wrong!!!

thats what it sounds like to me too, either a short or you connected something wrong. also, if the LED doesn't work you might have wired it in backwards. i would retrace you circuit with the schematic and make sure every thing matches up.

It's a short circuit as the battery is heated up. Check that no solder is making connections that shouldn't be there, which should be shorting out the circuit.
