I think Beatles have sold more records than anyone else. And everyone knows and loves the Beatles

I would suggest using proper grammer and complete sentences before attempting to write a paper for english.

Well, The Beatles, Elvis, The Rolling Stones... several other bands... I always just associate those as the big three of rock n' roll, you know without any of them music wouldn't be the same today (I'm not saying they influenced the most though) But every major artist builds on their genre a little bit.
I've decided that my signature is terrible. I'm open to suggestions.

Write statistical info ex...
records sold
gigs
other bands who have openly stated they were influenced by them

The Beatles from a lyrical standpoint have influenced thousands of bands.

Musically, look at Oasis and other bands that ripped them off.

amen.

also, there was this book called "the perks of being a wallflower" and they were discussing this somewhere and they said something along the lines of the beatles being the first of their kind, and therefore the sky was the limit. It was ALL new and there was just so much to be discovered, and they full well discovered it. i mean, granted that yeah there were other bands, but none as succesful as they were when it came to having such a dynamic sound. there was nothing really stopping them, no real social stereotypes of what music needed to be. you know?

the whole electric guitar frenzy was new, the whole drug scene was new. and they took advantage of that. they had that oppurtuinity which is why no band has really come close to making what they had. nothing is new anymore.

I don't like the beatles but I'd say they did influence ROCK music, it all really depends on what kind of genre, and if ur just looking at bands or musicians... if muicians Mozart or Bach... r Beethoven....

Perks is a brilliant book... I just wanted to say that. There still can be original music btw... like entire new genres, we just need someone creative enough to figure one.
