ok...so I'm aware that many don't like them spider amps...
I used to love mine...then i hated it, used my old amp with a descent distortion pedal...
so lately ive been finding myself in a rut...couldn't stand playing for more than 5minutes per sitting
so an hour ago i plug into my old spider amp, and I just found myself having a ball playing

so my question to you UGers is
Is it wrong to play a Spider? And liking it?

It just occurred to me that UG attracts a lot of socially isolated male teenagers with questionable psychological dispositions.

No. If it sounds good, it IS good, as Mr JPJ used to say. One of my favourite amps is my little Fender Bullet 15 DSP, cos I love the delay on it.

I think they sound OK at low volumes. Not great or anything, but as long as they aren't cranked....they sound OKAY.
