well, wrapping it 6000 times using ur hand will take ages, and if u messed up, u'd want to break the half assembled pickup.

best bet is, use something that turns itself, glue the pickup on that, and hold thte wire in place with ur hand.

it still wouldn't be the best tone ever, but its less constly than just getting a pickup. (maybe.)

Yeah, I hear hand wired pickups sound better too.

You just have to make sure to count because the amount of turns affect your tone pretty drastically.

and if you loose count somewhere between 0 and 6000? You're screwed.

I figured If I practise it for a while I will get the tone I want. I get 50 neodymium magnets for $40 so im gonna try make some split coils
