Does anybody here know anything about K. Yasuma & Co.? Reason being I've got a Yasuma Newance 130B acoustic and was hoping to find out a bit more about it.

All I've managed to find out is that they were a Japanese company who built guitars during the 70's then simply vanished off the face of the earth. Some people believe they were caught up in a lawsuit with martin guitars and were sent into bankruptcy, and others say they were a sub-company of Yamaha.

My acoustic is a nice sounding guitar and it looks alright with a sunburst body and white binding. I'm guessing it's around 30 years old and after all this time the intonation has only just started to go out on the B and high E, and it has a couple of little dings but other than that I've had no problems with it at all.

So does anyone else on UG have a Yasuma acoustic? Do you know anything about what happened to them? Any ideas on what it could be worth?
