anybody know of the best acoustic bass strings that are also affordable, i found a decent set for 20 bucks on guitar center, but i would rather have flats.

Are you complaining about paying $20 for strings? You've picked the wrong instrument, friend.

As far as acoustic flats go, however, they exist, but I don't know where to get them. Using normal flats works too, but it's analogous to using nickel strings on an acoustic guitar.

I was looking at a used Warwick Vampyre LTD 5'er for about $200. I went home to grab my wallet and came back and some jerk with an epic beard got it already..

I'm not sure that he was complaining, I think he was just looking for flats.

I live by the method: 3 or less orange warning labels, and it's safe as a kitten
