You'd go into the Boogie head normally, then out from its effects send into the effects return of the marshall head. Not sure if that'd stop anything going through the boogie power amp though.

Yeah if you plugged your guitar into the mesa, then ran a cable from the effects loop to the effects in on the marshall. . .

yeah, like said, mesa fx send to Marshall fx return/poweramp in, and vice versa. You would still need a speaker or dummy load on the first amp though.

Great advice, Erock503. Good thing you mentioned that!
This is the key item here, so you don't blow the output transformer on the Mesa. A dummy load box isn't very expensive.
