I think Line 6 should keep to digital amps. They do a great job with them. I loved my HD147 and regret selling it.

Right, second thread about this today (I think). Uso searcho baro mucho no?

Also, from what I've gathered (haven't played/heard one myself: this is just what I've read), yes, it's a lot better than the other spiders. Less digital sounding.

But there are a lot better amps in that price range.

This amp is great, I tried out a jackson rr24 through this in a guitar shop and my god it rocked

doesnt the HD147 use hybrid power amp tubes like Randall?

I think it's all digital.

And from my expironment with the spider valve, it had some good settings but some sounded digital. I also didn't like the fact the changing presets changed the volume, the distortion presets were so much louder then the clean.
