I was wondering if anyone could provide info or resources on the details of building a Dano type ply and Masonite body.
It's just an embryonic idea at the mo, not even sure if it'll be a guitar or a bass. I play both, and fancy something new. Just buying a Dano seems too easy!
In truth, it wouldn't even have to be a Dano shape: I just wonder about creating chambers in the body by cutting sections out of the ply layers.
How did they stick the layers together in the original ones? Just glue? Or were there pins of some sort?
Any hints or ideas appreciated!
