So, I have a few questions questions:

1. Would pickups designed for a strat fit in a strat copy? I assume they do, especially if the copy has the strat scale (25 1/2 Inches (648mm)).

2. I intend on changing all three pickup (to single coil sized humbuckers), by putting a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails in bridge, a Seymour Duncan JB Jr. in the neck and a Seymour Duncan Duckbucker in the middle. If I used the bridge + middle, would the duckbucker, which has a lower output, work with the higher output hotrails, meaning the overall output be increased, or will the duckbucker lower the overall output?

3. As all three pickups are humbuckers, would I have a problem with polarity, or will that not be a problem with 'buckers.

Thanks in advance. Just want to be a hundred per cent sure.

1. Yes, they should almost certainly fit, unless it's one really weird copy, but I doubt that. All single coils are pretty much the same size I believe.

As for the other two, I don't know enough about pickups to answer that, sorry.

Thanks. That's one of my main worries over.

for #2.. the output remains the same, the mix would be heavier from the higher output pickup.
Gear:

American Strat
Epiphone Valve JR head - Volume Mod'ed
Custom 1x12 with Private Jack speaker
Boss BF-3 Flanger
Boss DS-2 Distortion
Boss MT-2 MetalZone
