Okay, I know this may seem like a weird thread (it really is I guess ), but I like guitar/basses with lots of knobs and switches.
So give me ideas for knob options, and if you can post pictures of guitar/basses with lots of knobs and say what they do.

umm there are things where you can install effects into your guitar (overdrive, wah, chorus) i forget what theyre called but they require knobs and/or switches

You can install pedals in your guitar

normal people would put the knobs on the back of the guitar, so can be altered,
but you could always put them on the front, hey, with some distortion pedals, you could have one switch, and 4+ knobs

I'm hoping to put a fuzz factory in mine, and just having gain on the front and the on/off switch, and the rest on the back. as well as a phaser, with switch + one knob, and maybe some kind of delay
so heck, think mine will have god knows how many knobs and switches on it.

Old school BC Riches. They're so good looking with the see-thru finishes, and the loads of knobs and switches.

Heh, nice efforts but that's not the direction I'm looking at.
I'm not looking for onboard effects, but more in the direction of the electronics on botique (sp?) basses, which have EQ controls, active-passive switches etc.
Are there any guitar makers who do these kind of things?

What guitar do you have?
Or what pickups? singles or humbuckers?

Put in a switch that's labeled "magic" at pos. 1 and "more magic" at pos. 2. You'll be my hero forever. Inside it you'll just need a single wire going to the ground...

what will that do? nothing i presume

^ No, label it Alt + F4. Or is it F5?

It is F4. I just tried it myself. Unfortunatly, I didn't have the sense to use a window that I wasn't using to communicate whether or not Alt + F4 did the trick.

Aw, c'mon... None of you know even the most basic keyboard shortcuts?

I knew of it, I've used it before, but my memory isn't the greatest for computer stuff.
