I just picked up a Peavey TKO 80 at a garage sale for $40. Whats better than 50 cents a watt? It's plays just fine, theres just a little scratching when I adjust the treble EQ, but everything else is perfect. The man had an old gibson I might go back and bargain it down.

Is there such a thing as a heavy riff with out chugging on the e string?

Take the knob off the pot and spray a little electrical contact spray on there, it'll get rid of the scratchyness.

I was looking at a used Warwick Vampyre LTD 5'er for about $200. I went home to grab my wallet and came back and some jerk with an epic beard got it already..
