I've been using D'addrio .10s for my guitar career, basically because my dad set me up with them and I've always liked them.

My HSS Strat came set up with .9 Super Bullets, which I fell in love with. When I changed them, I didn't have another set of SB, so I set them up with my beloved .10 D's...

I like them, but they don't tune well. Like they take a while to tune. They keep detuning for a minute or two after the tune.

So anyways, I'm looking for a new brand or gauge.

Reccomendations?

Jermy is right. Stretch 'em out. I play D 10s and they are fine.

phisically pull the strings to take the slack out of them that builds up at the tuning peg

right,,grab em with ure fingers,,,and pull up on them slightly ,,,, and do a few string bends to, it helps "stretch em out" which stops them wandering out of tune

you should always do this to new strings

^not if they're already on them. Just keep them on and tune them correctly, then at the 12th fret do some bends on each strings, about 1 full step. Do this a few times to each string, and tune a couple times inbetween stretches.

New strings need to be stretched out or else they will go out of tune in a matter of seconds.
