When looking at a guitar, and playing one, and all that cool stuff, do you prefer guitars that have a completely flat top? A kind of flat top, with a bit of curve? Or a very sexy curvy guitar?

I personally love definition, it makes the guitar much more interesting, attractive, and more comfortable to play. In my opinion.

What do you guys think?

I'm probably in the minority, but I actually like slab bodies. I think it's just because it has more of an utilitarian feel, not as fancy.

Would you do it?

What would you do?

I mean as in the area of the guitar where the Strings are located, not the top as if you were sitting and playing it. The front, the face, etc...

Edit: Carved top.

it's a guitar, not a girl. you're talking about an inch difference here. stop worrying about the minute details, and just worry about how it plays/sounds.

For you... the difference is absolutely nothing, to a good inch.

Edit, I'm sorry, that was stupid, and inappropriate.
