i got my new issue of guitar world recently and saw an article of their top 10 guitar picks under $750. lets just say i highly disagree with it, with that much $ why is squire on the list?

so we should compile our own list of top guitars under $750

ibanez s470DXQM,

Guitar World gets paid for the reviews and 'awards' they give out.

In the article, they go from lowest pricing to highest. 750 being the threshold. Essentially, it's giving you a list of the best cheap guitars out there. I thought it was very useful.

I thought the list was crap.

You can't really say best guitars for $750 because once you start paying more than $300 on a guitar, you're starting to look for a guitar specialized in something. A Fender and Flying V are both good guitars but to put them in a list together for an overall consensus of how good they are is kind of rediculous.

They should have made it like Top 5 Metal guitars, Top 5 Vintage Guitars, Top 5 All around guitars, all for under $750.

The Flying V should be removed from there; not only are the faded guitars subjected to poor quality control, when my dad tried one out he was affraid it was going to give him splinters, because of the horrible half-assed sanding job.

The others on the list are good though, but these are not the only good guitars you can get for under 750$.

On the other hand, if a person picks a guitar from this list it will probably satisfy their needs, so it's not all bad.
You've read it, you can't un-read it!

They reviewed the Michael Kelly Patriot Shadow, which in my opinion is far and beyond the Epi LP custom and the PRS SE Singlecut.

Also, you can get a basic Carvin Bolt-T for $670; a guitar that I'd put up against MIA strats worth more than twice as much.

^I'd let a pro look at it. Once you get into the technicalities of screws...well, it's just a place you don't want to be, friend.

Umm... they were going by the official list price of $750, just so you know. You, know the price you find on the guitar brand's website? That one.

Which is why the Ibanez Rg1570 or other higher priced guitars isnt on there.

ya i realize that they posted best guitars LISTED under $750, but i think they should have done it on the REATAIL standard price. i mean that is the standard for prices.
