You can't buy Mesa new online in the US, stores aren't allowed to do that, not sure exactly why though. In Europe they are though.

in my local GC, they have like 10 mesa heads there. they had a lonestar too
even though they arent like listed, they still have them in some stores

yeah, good ideas all around.

find a store by you that has mesas and play them. if you like it, but it's too expensive... there's always ebay
