It's time for an upgrade this holiday season on my rig. I was aiming for one amp for Christmas, a Hughes and Keffner Blue Edition 60 watt, on sale for 329.99. Originally for 447.99

But I also played on a Vox AD50VT watt amp and I liked that too.

I'm not sure which one to buy and which one's are show worthy?

Another option I have is buying an Orange cab or maybe any Cab and using my behringer V-amp 2. Would this work, because I like the sound of this better.

Thanks guys

I have the AD30VT, its the same only less watts. i really do like it. it provides a huge variety as far as tone goes. the built in effects are also nice considering i dont have a huge budget, however i know pedals would be a lot better. im very happy with it and its a great practice amp. i cant say i know much about the other one. Good luck!

Thanks, but that really doesn't help, lol.

The V-amp provides me with tons of effects, tones and sounds, so I really don't need any pedals, and the Blue Edition Hugh & Keffner amp has built in effects, so I was iffy about it.

Will hooking a cab to the amp modeler serve me well?

If not what are some other show worthy options that are rather cheap?
