Could somebody please name some good country blues players, i have no examples sorry.

Stuff like what you hear on films sometimes when it's more country blues rather than blues rock etc. I'm thinking along the lines of harmonica music

thanks

Son House and Robert Johnson are a good place to start

And these guys http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntaeh5Smpu4

They are both Delta Blues, but if thats what you mean, definetly them.

Blind Lemon Jefferson
Blind Willie Johnson
And Mr Blind Willie McTell
Lightnin' Hopkins?

Delta Blue's and Country Blue's are very closely related.

What the hell are the apostrophes for?

I'd check out some Texas blues as well. SRV, Joe "Guitar" Hughes, T-Bone Walker, etc.

i can't believe that nobody has mentioned sonny terry and brownie mcghee. they were kings of the country blues.

No sh*t. But was it really necessary to say "SRV can go to hell"?

Yes, as I really don't like his playing.
It's not Country Blues, or Delta Blues.

But it really wasn't meant to be like that. As it was becuase he isn't country blues, he's blues rock. I understand your point.
