A lot of these songs aren't very well known at all, which means they'll be forgetten fairly fast.

You guys suck at this.

Exactly what I was thinking.

IMO Comfortably Numb is better than Another Brick In The Wall. But Another Brick is epic and very known so it will not die any soon. Comfortably Numb is known only between the rock community.

What's the big deal with Gibsons, anyway?
I've heard loads of Gibsons being played before
and they don't sound any more special than
any other guitar.

I noticed, you're all posting songs that guitarists wouldn't dare forget or overlook. But I don't think anyone outside of the guitar community would know what 'Master of Puppets' is.

Johnny Cash is being forgotten, it's horrible...
9 out of 10 people probably don't know anything beyond the first riff of Smoke on the Water
And alas, Iron Man is being forgotten as well, as hard as that is to believe.
And Nirvana will probably be forgotten by the mainstream by the end of this decade too

My generation truly sucks ass.

Wintersun- Death and the Healing
Arch Enemy- blood on your hands

I don't think he asked what your favorite songs are at the moment, because being an Arch Enemy fan myself I see nothing timeless or "impactful"l about that song, though it is your opinion.
