What is the most important lesson The Pit has taught you?

For me, it taught me to never, ever, under any circumstances click/google a link that someone has posted on a forum. No matter how appealing they make it sound, no matter how intrigued you are by it, don't click the ****ing link!

Play it safe, don't post. Just lurk.

I learnt this the hard, pointless, and blood boiling way in the religion thread

I completely agree with you, TS...after visiting 2girls1cup.com a few minutes ago, I was convinced.

I've also taken from UG the realization of how easy it is for other, more innocent forums to shamelessly copy 4chan memes. Why, UG? Why?

One time I had this chick setting on my lap, sucking on my neck, unbuttoning my pants when one of my friends walked in and ruined the whole thing. To be fair though, she was his girlfriend.

Shoopin' that whoop since before you were born, son.

It's supposedly not okay to curse in public, talk about outrageous porn videos with others, and that we all suck at the guitar.

I beg to differ.

There's just not too many of them.

The biggest thing I learned on UG is how to make a good argument to opinionated idiots, and to stand up for what you believe without getting bashed for it. And I've recieved quite a few jewels of guitar advice on occaision.

I learned to hover over a link and see where it points you (by looking in the lower left hand corner of the screen) before clicking on it.
