I have a Fender CD-110e.
it's a pretty good guitar and i got it at $265 new.
It has Fishman electronics and ive had it for about 8 months now, and it still feels great.

there are probably better out there, but this is what i have.

i'm not really a fan of any brand new acoustic-electric i've ever played for under $400. is $300 your absolute maximum budget?

i've got a westfield... i like it, though i know it's not the top of the range. it's nice looking and has a good sound.
mine was £130ish, so thats around $300.

yeah, agreed here. If you can stretch it the Alvarez AD60SC is my fav.
i think it costs about $400.
If not then something from here:

with a soundhole pickup or something may be better

Yamaha FG30s is $30 over budget, but plays and sounds like it's $100+ over budget.
And yet, to me, what is this quintessence of dust? Man delights not me: no, nor woman neither... nor women neither.
