EDIT: That was a little unclear. Who improvised their solo on this jam?

DOUBLE EDIT: Whoever is playing 10 minutes into it (albinostrat) just inspired me to pick up my guitar and go play.

Everyone listed in order, the tones change quite noticeably for each new person.

mine is actuallt about 4:30 onward actually.... theres a chance you are thinking of snipelfritz with the bluesy-classic-rock, its awesome!
mine is very simple in comparison and i agree it is excellent around the 10 minute mark.

EDG is awesome... thats you with the harmonics right~?? circa 12mins?

haha! yeah, i first thought it was somehow going to name each artist..... but NOPE!
Frank took credit for the whole lot!

haha
as far as 'improvised' goes, i thought i was being daring using the 2nd (f#) as i'm sure most people used penta

I used F# too, mine was mainly pentatonic but I used the parts of the natural minor scale too.

Pandora on keys - epic, lol, but Sinan does the bass too (I'm always surprised when other instruments than guitar appears on this forum)

I STILL hate the background crap in my recording, stupid wah lol. And I **** up the very last notes

I really like the tone of Branny's guitar :O and I love the **** he plays halfway in.

Stashjam, I think, plays bluesy **** - the "intro" of his part is awesome (but then again, the blues is mostly recycling lol).

Crap, I've lost track now completely. The part where whoever's playing plays in a lower tempo, followed by an increase in tempo AND distortion - eargasmic for me.

Oh well, after having listened through all of it - Great variety of styles and techniques, from blues to shred to piano.

Even though I know none of you guys and only did this out of boredom, this has been the most fun thing I've done regarding music in a year or something - I'm actually getting good crit for something I do

PS. I use the word "epic" way too much - thanks, Pit.

Seriously, this is ****ing epic - I've listened through the jam several times out of free will

Machine Gun as the backing track was an excellent choice.

Wow, that was truly awesome, even better than the first one imo. It's a great track, seemed to bring out the Hendrix in a lot of people, I'm gutted I missed it. Well done to everyone who played, and of course to Sinan (who is welcome to run all future jams if he wants to)

No really it's fine, the reason I set up the email and dmusic accounts was so different people could run it, so I don't have to. It looks like it might be a fairly regular thing now, I'm really glad it's working out

Wish I could have been a part of it. Still working out the kinks on Cakewalk. Next one should be the Grateful Dead G Mixo track. There's a lot of cool stuff to explore with that one.
Do not concentrate on the finger for you will miss all the heavenly glory.

I would love the Grateful Dead track or the phrygian one. I'm looking forward to it already

How about taking the 12 bar blues backing track seeing that was second on the poll?
