Quick question, say your building a flat top set neck style guitar. If i wanted a gloss black finish and it be doub;e bound how would i go about doing this? say the neck was premade made and already has binding on it.

Do i cut out the body route out all the cavitys and the binding channel then paint and put the binding in last before the clear coat?

Put the binding in paint wipe paint off binding?

or put binding in then tape it up with a few layers of painters tape?

I believe the method is to route, bind, paint, and scrape the paint off the binding. Taping would also work.
