I want a boss reverb, delay, and chorus. Will they work on the lead side of my 5150?
I am asking because on my RP pedal they sound like complete crap and make a bunch of noises on the lead side of my amp when i try to use them. I am just wondering if the boss pedals will make the same noises as the rp pedal does (on the lead side)

Did you run the RP through the input on the amp or through the effects loop? (Does the 5150 even have a loop?)

I was assuming it was one of those Digitech multi-effect pedals...which might be the problem.

Right. Next time you see it, look on the back of the amp. There might be two sockets - one labelled send, and the other return. This is the effects loop, and you should put effects like chorus, reverb, delay, flange, phaser etc. through this so that they aren't distorted by the preamp section of your amplifier. It has a huge impact on the sound.

Put the send into the input of the first in the chain.
Put the output of the last in the chain into return.

It's not rocket science
