I've been wearing my home-made Municipal Waste shirt almost every day for the past month.
I am seeing them later this month with Suicidal Tendencies for the 2nd time!
The first time I saw them I was volunteering at a youth venue and Tony Foresta kept coming up and talking to me, it didn't mean much at the time because that was the first time I had discovered them. But it was great.

Beer pressure is an awesome song. I love that little pseudo-solo in the middle.

Absolutely.
Beer funnels, boogie board crowd surfing, trampolines for stage dives.
Doesn't get better.

My cousin went to go see them. Among the more memorable moments was this:

This next song is about moshing on Jesus' face! THE THRASHING! OF THE CHRIST!

sadly, i dunno the different between crossover and thrash metal. sounds the same to me. but municipal waste sure puts on a hell of a live performance

Corossover has a lot more punkish elements AFAIK. You can definitely hear that in Municipal Waste's stuff.

Also, what amps does the guy use? Pretty brutal toan on Art of Partying.

Municipal waste is the most promising new thrash band to emerge in the last decade...I'm so ****ing pumped to see them in a few weeks.

no theyre not. Basic, boring and with some of the worst vocals ever. leave thrash in the hands of the Germans who do it best.

They aren't a thrash band, they're a crossover band.

Sure Kreator is amazing, but MW is following in the footsteps of bands like, Suicidal Tendencies and DRI, and doing a damn good job at it too, and there aren't a lot of bands like them around today.

And in this thread, ours would be that crossover is a valid and enjoyable genre.'

Zekster, you'll like Hazardous Mutation, but The Art of Partying is solid too.

You dismiss an entire genre of music in a single sentence and then you go on to call others "close minded". The irony is just too obvious.

Not bad, if they were darken their sound a little bit more I'd like 'em more. But as of now they almost sound like that ****ty street punk stuff... but Their still metal enough to where I don't mind them.
